Trump seems determined to become completely irrelevant long before primary season opens

The NY Post, like the other Murdoch-owned media, the WSJ and Fox, have gone full anti-Trump, so this report is filled with errors, omissions, and downright lies, but the essence is here: Trump demands that Kari Lake be installed as Governor of Arizona.

I don’t understand this man. His demand that the 2020 election results be overturned and that he be installed as President instead of Biden was never, ever going to be met, so why did he continue to insist that it be done? And what does he hope to gain by repeating that futile quest out in Arizona? Should he point out the corruption that took place in Maricopa County? Why not? But to demand that Lake be seated is just stupid, because it’s not going to happen, and it just reminds “neutral” voters that the man can be a bit demented at times.

If there was one prominent lesson to be learned from the past election debacle, it’s that voters don’t care about election fraud; they should, but they don’t. So, just two days after embarrassing himself by his choice of dining companions, it seems unwise of Trump to continue the theme, and even revive (well, he never let it go, I suppose) his own claim to have been robbed in 2020. Yes he was, and the country is paying a huge price for that fraud, but onward and upward.
