where some see disaster, others sense opportunity

It took a while, but survived the Southwest meltdown, and made it home. It was wonderful to see family, and if I had an extra day to hang out with the new granddaughter and son-in-law, plus children, plus Pal Nancy, how bad is that?

Blogging will resume shortly — it’s been an unexpected pleasure to just give it a break for a while — but one note: whatever can and should be said about Southwest’s executive management team, the rank and file employees were fantastic, remaining cheerful and incredibly helpful to this confused traveller all along the way. They deserve far better bosses.
