Some insurrection, eh?
/While the government lackeys of mainstream media howl about the insurrection and “threat to Democracy” going on north of the border, let’s take a look at what they’re so scared of:
Hot tubs, pizza ovens, and bouncy castles.
“You know, this is not just a protest. Ottawa, like any capital city, is used to a protest. But here, you know, right beside me they set up a Plinko table, one of those games you would see on The Price is Right. They have open fire pits that are burning throughout the downtown. They have villages essentially. They’ve built structures on the street to keep people warm. They have a full set of — I saw some pizza ovens the other day. Even, in one spot, organizers had three different saunas and a hot tub set up.”
Fear of an awakened populace
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson Says It’s ‘Disturbing’ To See Kids Having Fun In Bouncy Castles At Trucker Protest
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson described Sunday that seeing children playing in bouncy castles at the “Freedom Convoy” protests against vaccine mandates was “disturbing.”
“It’s disturbing when you see the protest turning into what looks like some kind of a fun carnival, where they’ve got bouncy castles and hot tubs and saunas, a complete insult to the people who are putting up with this nonsense for the last seven days, and it shows a great deal of insensitivity,” Watson, who is unmarried and childless, said when asked for comment by a local Canadian news outlet CTV.
The revolution: it’s not just for truckers anymore.
