The two building lots carved out of the former Greyledge estate are finally under contract

greyledge — placed in the dumpster of history in 2006

The current owner purchased 137 Doubling Road for $7.6 million in 2000, tried reselling it in 2004 for $8.2, razed the former Col. Bolling residence in 2006, subdivided it, and has been trying to sell it as two building lots pretty much ever since, with a peak price in 2014 of $9.250 million and currently $4.850. Today it reports a contract.
