A Belle Haven saga finally concludes

13 Meadow Wood Drive has closed at $2.1 million. It was first put up for sale in 2011, priced by David Ogilvy at $3.5 million. That number did not meet with buyers’ approval, nor did any of the other, lower prices tried over the years. Finally, the bank came calling, and in November 2018 the then-current $1.8 listing was cancelled, and it was repriced, curiously, at $2.7. The strategy behind that move was unclear, but in any event, a buyer did finally show up and, as noted, the house has sold.
