Sale in Riverside NoPo

19 Lake View Drive, one indivisible acre, has sold for $1.9 million. That’s not the $2.715 the owner was hoping for back in May of last year, but heck: he paid $985,000 for it in 2011, had a perfectly livable bachelor pad for 10 years, and pocketed a cool million for his troubles; what’s not to like?

Not sure I could have faced this much pink every morning for so long, but I get it: why waste money putting lipstick on a pig that’s headed for the slaughterhouse? (A case of abattoir arbitrage?)
