Fox Run sale price reported
/49 Fox Run Lane, $4.4 million. There’s no such thing as “stealing” when discussing an act of capitalism between consenting adults, but it’s probably fair to say that the buyers got a great deal here. The owners paid $3.1 for it in 2000 and completely renovated it. The result was so gorgeous that David Ogilvy might (almost) be forgiven for listing it at $11.5 million in 2005, even though that didn’t work, and the listing expired in 2010 while priced at $6.950.
It came back on in October 2020 at $6.999, not a bad number, considering that the town currently assesses it at $6,803,900, but we now know the result. So as I said, I think the buyers have done well.
