Seattle high school reports that 80% of its students are LGBQ+++ VLX, binary, or transgender

I wonder how many high school students “identifying” as something other than their sex are doing so out of fear of being accused of heresy by their peers and teachers? Or, for that matter, Yale law students?

For instance, The Times of London reports this story: Girl driven out of school for questioning transgender ideology

A girl who argued that biological sex is real after a talk about transphobia felt forced to leave her school after pupils hounded her for challenging the views of a visiting speaker.

She was treated like a heretic for questioning a politician’s assertions about sex, a teacher at the school said. The female member of the House of Lords visited the private girls’ school, a Stonewall diversity champion, to talk about transphobia in parliament.

The girl told The Times: “The language she was using was implying critical theory took precedence over biological reality in defining women.” She added: “When I questioned that, she said it wasn’t an issue of semantics. She said trans people don’t have basic human rights in this country. Afterwards I spoke to her and said I’m sorry if I came across as rude.”

The pair parted amicably, the girl said. But on returning to the sixth form she was surrounded by up to 60 girls who shouted, screamed, swore and spat at her. She escaped and said she collapsed, unable to breathe properly.

Teachers were initially supportive but withdrew their backing after the other sixth-formers accused the girl of transphobia. The teenager returned to school a few times but was told she would have to work in the library if she said anything provocative in lessons, and faced bullying and accusations of transphobia from pupils throughout the school. She also spent breaktimes and lunchtimes in the library. The girl left in December and is studying at home.

A teacher at the school said: “We know how these views are being silenced in the adult world through high-profile legal cases and the bullying and defamation of celebrities such as JK Rowling. This is also happening in schools.”

… It was the similarity of transgender ideology to religious fundamentalism that “alerted me to the danger of what has been going on in our schools over the last few years”, the teacher added.

He said a group of sixth-formers arrived in an “animated state” after the speaker’s visit, with a “significant group of girls verbally ‘laying into’ one particular 18-year-old who had had the audacity to question the position”.

The teacher added: “It was probably somewhat naive of her not to realise that this is indeed ‘an ideology’ and one with which you’re simply not allowed to disagree.” The 18-year-old girl ended up denounced by other pupils in the school. The teacher said: “It is quite chilling to witness first hand how this ideology operates and grows.”

He said: “It was the whispered and frequent use of the terms transphobe and transphobic during that after-school activity that alerted me to the depressing fact that these girls were going along with the narrative that our heretic was, as far as they were concerned, indeed a heretic — and that she was thoroughly deserving of the roasting that she had just received before caving in and running off in a panicked and hyperventilating state.”

Staff were initially supportive but, after complaints from other sixth-formers, ended up apologising [to the mob] for not maintaining a “safe space” in the sixth form.

The girl told The Times that she would have completed her A-levels at the school had it not been for the incident in October. “It made me think I was mad,” she said. “Otherwise how could people turn on me so bitterly?”

Reporting on the same story, the Daily Mail includes these additional comments from the teacher:

'To question its basic tenets is simply heresy and heretics in one way or another need to be exposed, attacked and gotten rid of.

'Even if they are such notable and seemingly untouchable figures as J K Rowling.'

The teacher went on to describe 'the current transgender ideology' to religious 'fundamentalism' and warned it was posing a 'danger' to schools.

He continued: 'Narcissistic rage is the antithesis of righteous anger in that it is vengeful and vindictive, and (in its purest form) always seeks to annihilate and never forgives.

'What happened in the 6th form centre, known these days as a ''woke pile on'' is an example of where narcissistic rage masquerades as righteous anger in the form of ''gleeful outrage''.

'Here, otherwise perfectly nice and agreeable individuals collude and congregate to show that they are on the moral high ground and ''on the right side of history''.

'Also any waverers will be getting the clearest message of what will happen to ''them'' if they don't conform.'

While so far, attacks on violators of the tenets of the Religion of Woke have been mostly limited to beatings, stonings, and burning of property (see, eg, ANTIFA), at least among non-muslims, are we that far from adopting the mores of primitive societies like France, or Nigeria?

Accused of blasphemy, Nigerian girl is dragged outside by her fellow students and stoned, beaten, and burned to death.

Student Deborah Samuel was killed by a mob in northern Nigeria who stoned, beat and set fire to her for a voice note that they considered to be blasphemous against the Prophet Muhammad.

The angry mob pulled Deborah out of a security room she was hiding in at the Shehu Shagari school in Sokoto, northwestern Nigeria, and carried out the horrific killing, according to police.

Days earlier, Deborah, who is Christian, had left a voice note in her class Whatsapp group complaining that there were too many religious posts in a group intended for academic updates.

According to a translation, she said: 'The group is not created for sending nonsense things.

'It is created to send past questions, if there is a test, or if we are given assignments, not all these nonsense things.'

A fellow student replied with a voice note saying that Deborah had just blasphemed, and the original voice note began to circulate among Muslim students in the community.

An angry mob formed to hunt Deborah down, and the student took refuge in the security room of the school under the protection of security guards. Unfortunately they were unable to keep her safe.

Deborah was dragged out, beaten and then stoned. Once she had died her body was set on fire and the school building burnt down as well.
