You certainly can’t say you weren’t warned here; we’ve been shouting about the impending collapse of our energy system for years. It’s probably too late to have a generator installed for this summer, but things are getting worse, not better, so getting in line now makes sense.

When the natural gas supply is destroyed, of course, your generator will be as useless as your Tesla charger, but bringing down the gas infrastructure will take longer than it will to crash the electrical grid, so go ahead, and enjoy modern civilization while you still can.
