/29 Innis Lane, Old Greenwich, asked $1.699 and has gone to pending status after just 8 days; I think we can assume there was a bidding war here.
This house was in miserable condition back in 2008-2014, but these owners got it via a short sale in 2015 and fixed it up, probably much to their profit.
The previous owners tried for $2.685 million back in 2017 before finally giving up and accepting $1.585 in 2009. I might worry about the Byram River flooding the property, but the house has been here since 1935 and is still here, so I guess that’s alright. Too bad that the Merritt Parkway, which began construction that same year, is also still here, right across the river.
