Swim Fins and Snorkel Included?

New to the market today, 9 Rex Street, Pemberwick, is priced at $1.749 million. It looks like a nice house, but it’s right on the Byram River, a body of water that refuses to honor its borders at that end of its run. And if that weren’t enough, during storms like Hurricane Aida, water flows downhill from the land looming above, straight into the homes. Did I mention that the dam just a tad upriver at the intersection of Peberwick and Comley was built in the 1800s, and hasn’t been inspected since 2012 (it’s supposed to be inspected every two years) because no one knows who owns it?

The tax card shows that the entire property is in the AE “High Risk” zone, and this flood report for 9 Rex isn’t encouraging
