Attention doomsayers (like myself) and real estate junkies: there'll be less real estate activity to report for the next two months

too soon?

I’ll be reporting it as it comes in, but as FWIW’S Resident Pollyanna Gideon pointed out on his radio show today, activity always drops during the summer, as buyers and sellers alike depart for their second (or third, or fourth) homes in the mountains and on the islands (no global warming believers among our Nantucket and MV owners). This year will be no different, probably, even if last year was, so we’ll have to wait until the fall market begins before we can gauge whether the national slowdown is affecting Greenwich.

Until then, there’s always the unfolding national disaster to discuss.
