Oh, the humanity!!!!
/It’s summertime, and the weather is easy to predict: it will be hot. That rather typical result of our globe’s orbit around the sun is, of course, fodder for the hysterics of the media and our intellectual betters, like the editors of The Daily Mail:

It does sounds like Texas is feeling the heat but fortunately, that state has diverted billions of dollars from its fossil fuel infrastructure and into developing a reliable, inexpensive network of windmills and Chinese solar panels, so the residents can stay safe and comfy in their air conditioned homes and electric cars.
The rest of us will just have to suffer.
