22 Sumner Road, 6.78 acres and an 1810 home sold to a couple from Bedford in 2020 for $1.250. The new owners razed the ouse, had a 9,000 sq.ft. deigned for them and then changed their minds and put it back on the market this May at $3.5 million. No one pays for someone else’s house plans, so a $2.250 million-dollar markup might be considered a tad exuberant. That was the case, and today the price was dropped to $3 million.
