Biden's handlers throw him a party to celebrate the end of inflation: poor timing

when james taylor first released this song 52 years ago, inflation was already at 5.72 %, on its way to 13%

He was having a grand time — plenty of ice cream and party hats for all — until the inflation numbers came roaring in, and the DOW dropped 1300 points.

Speaking from the White House lawn, Biden called the Inflation Reduction Act the "single most important legislation passed in the Congress to combat inflation and one of the most significant laws in our nation's history."

To open the event at the White House, the Biden communications team called in James Taylor to sing Fire and Rain. Fire and Rain is a song about suicide, addiction and things ending very badly. Fitting for the occasion.
