It's baaaack!
/164 Round Hill Road, [link was bad before] all 17,000 sq. ft. of it, is up for sale again, this time asking $17.5 million. Built in 1911, the late David Ogilvy priced it at $19 million in 2003 and sold it for $12 million a year later; that David was such a card!
Not to be outdone, Tamar Laurie also tried for $19.495 million in 2011, and got $15 million for it 803 days later.
The current owners have brought in a whole lot of white paint, and have redone the place to look like a Manhattan co-op, which is “different”, but to be fair, a vast improvement over the Cindy Renfrew look of the 2011 version.
So as always, we’ll just wait and see.
