/33 Midwood Road has taken a second price cut and is now down to $6.950 from its year-ago price of $8.3 million.
The owners paid $4.750 for it in 2002, but that might not have been a properly vetted price, because it was one of those off-the-market, “just-between-us-girls” sales; those often don’t pay off down the road.
Completed in 1928, just as the Great Depression was getting going, this could be your chance to also buy on the precipice. Will history repeat itself, this time as farce? Time will tell, but in the meantime, this looks like a wonderful home to hunker down in while the winds blow.
