Riverside sale price reported

27 Willowmere Circle (pictures have been removed from the MLS, but I wrote about it last summer, for those with long memories) has sold for $5.510, well above its asking price of $5.150 million. It was originally listed in July and had an accepted offer within days, but the owner died tragically, and it was withdrawn. It came back on in late August and again immediately found a buyer — perhaps the same one, or someone who’d lost the first bidding war, I don’t know.

The buyer is from Riverside, which doesn’t surprise me, because Willowmere Circle is one of the few neighborhoods that actually lives up to that real estate agent cliche, “coveted”,
