Not that our own government has much to learn from the southern communist dictator. Maduro has jailed his most prominent adversaries, driven others into exile, and barred the rest from campaigning; we’re still at just imprisoning threats to our figurehead, although today’s ruling by a federal judge imposing a gag order on Trump may be something Maduro hadn’t thought of yet, and we haven’t tried exile, so there’s room for cross-fertilization.
