With so little real estate activity to report on, I'll go with a couple of new listings
/60 Midwood Road, $7.250 million. A modest home built in 1929, it sits on 1.75 acres in Deer Park; that’s in the R-1 zone, so I expect we’ll see this replaced by a new, 17,000 sq.ft. statement home, an edifice that will more properly showcase the importance of whatever new owner shows up to claim this property as his own.
Further west, 25 Zaccheus Mead Lane is inviting offers beginning at $9 million. Beautiful 1905 home on an excellent street, but I think $9 million is an aspirational price; we’ll see.
