It used to be that "winners" of bidding wars always ended up losing on resale; not in this market

The owners of 150 Zaccheus Mead Lane beat out all comers in August, 2022, and “won” the house with a bid of $4.8 million vs the asking price of $4.395. They closed on the property this past January 10th and put it back on the market last month at $5.3. A buyer has appeared, and it’s now under contract. No word yet on what the final selling price will be, but there’s bound to be room for transaction costs, with something left over to compensate them for their trouble.
