Thomas Jefferson vs Biden: no contest

On the same day that we’ve learned that Biden’s handlers have freed up another $10 billion for Iran’s “Death to America” mullahs, comes news that our Navy is still forbidden to retaliate against Iran’s proxies when they attack our ships.

Destroyer USS Thomas Hudner shot down a drone from Yemen in the Red Sea and then … stops.

The USS Thomas Hudner, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, shot down a drone from Yemen in the Red Sea, two U.S. defense officials confirm to Fox News.

A defense official said the drone was shot down in self-defense. "The drone was heading towards the Hudner," the official said. 

On Tuesday, during the Pentagon news briefing, Fox News' Jennifer Griffin asked Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh about the lack of U.S. military response to the Houthis in Yemen who downed the $32 million MQ-9 drone over the Red Sea last week. 

"Isn't the lack of response by the US military inviting more actions, aggressive actions by the Houthis?" Griffin asked. 

"I wouldn't say that it's inviting more aggressive or further response from the Houthis," Singh replied. "We've seen the Houthis do this before." 

"I'm not saying that we're not going to respond. We always reserve the right to respond at a time and place of our choosing. But I just don't have anything to forecast for you right now," she added. 

The military knows exactly who sent this drone and its precise launch location, but, I suspect, John Kerry and his ilk have denied permission to respond (At least I hope it’s the administration stopping retaliation; our new, woke military might have made the decision on its own.)

When Jefferson took office as president in 1802 he immediately ended America’s policy of appeasement and payment of tribute to the Barbary Pirates and wiped them out. When Biden was sworn in, his handlers ended Trump’s hardline position against Arab and Persian terrorist states and returned instead to the Obama and pre-Jeffersonian policies of humble submission to our foes. This is known as “aputting the adults back in charge”.
