Slipped in under the bell on Friday

Even in a strong market like the current one, there’s not much real estate activity during the two weeks between Christmas and New Years, but 3 Gastric Farm Road did sell last week for $2.2 million. That’s not very close to the $3.050 it started off at in 2017, but it’s a teensy bit better than the $2.175 it had dropped to by 2020. All good things come to those who wait.

It’s interesting to see how many times the owners raised the price of the house after it failed to sell for less. As usual, that was a failing tactic.
