It’s the dead time of the real estate year, but still, I’m struck by the lack of reports of any price cuts, even for houses that have been on the market for many months, even years. Here are the top 20 of such homes, showing their current prices; bear in mind, some have already taken multi-million dollar cuts and still won’t sell. And also note that a number of them have actually been on the market for years, disappearing briefly to reset the days on market clock. If something didn’t sell this fall, in this market, there’s something wrong, and it’s your price.
