2 Mortimer Drive, Old Greenwich, listed at $1.825, sold for $1.850. It’s a classic old (1923, no a/c) cottage, in a good neighborhood, so the fact that this drew multiple bidders isn’t surprising. It does illustrate the frustration buyers have been encountering for the last two years: too few houses, too many buyers.

You won’t hear sellers complaining about that, unless they are also trying to buy another house in town for themselves.
