I'm sure it's very nice house, but clinging to its first price for six months, in this market, strikes me as unwise

After 187 days, 25 Stoney Wild Lane has been dropped in price from $4.4 million to $4.195. Currently, there is so little inventory that houses in this range are selling in weeks, if not days, so if the market has responded to your initial price with a resounding “no”, you’re doing something wrong, and that isn’t the choice of wallpaper, or the lack of a zebra on the floor, it’s your wrong estimate of value.

As an aside, if buyers have shunned your offering all this time, a $205,000 cut probably won’t be persuasive; anyone seriously interested in the place could have offered that long ago.
