UPDATE: Sometimes, even the best “journalist” err, but the mark of their professionalism is the speed with which they confess their sins and repent. Here, for instance, is one such correction after a reporter slipped and failed to use the obligatory “mostly peaceful” tag:

I deleted the last tweet because I wasn’t as clear. This was a peaceful protest. Students, parents and their supporters went through Capitol security to lobby for gun control in the Capitol.
