1799, with a whiff of diesel in the air

1414 King Street, a portion of which was built in 1799, is under contract just five days after being listed for $950,000, despite the following advisory:

Tenants are in place. Please do not walk the property. There is no access to the house. We have no indication when there will be access - Nor are there photos. By appointment only, 72 hour notice required arrangements can be made to walk the property. No one is allowed on the property without confirmation to do so. Thank you for your understanding.

There is ony 0.66 of an acre left of what was presumably, a larger piece of land back in 1799, and some of that acreage now seems to be occupied by I-684, so the original bucolic atmosphere has gone with the truck drafts. Such is progress.
