Its second price cut in a month — that Russ Pruner is a savvy guy, eh?

421 Stanwich Road, which hit the market on March 23rd at $5.495 million, has taken a second cut and is now at $4.990. Russ knows how to sell houses, and he’s not sitting around on a price that’s not drawing bids. Nor should you, oh homeowner.

This is one of those Jordon Saper behemoths he was putting up in the 1990s-early 2000s, homes that were quite popular then and sold quickly, even on resale. This one has the standard 7 bedrooms, 10, sq. ft. crammed onto 2 acres. master bedroom/airplane hangars with 30’ ceilings, and so on. I wasn’t a fan (did you notice?), but they did sell.

This one has been on and off the market since 2008, when it asked $8.250, but it’s empty now, and apparently, the owners are getting serious. So we’ll see what happens; I have no doubt that, should this cut fails to produce results, Pruner will come up with another one.
