Well if Squirrel Flower isn't going, then neither am I

When some bands pull out of SXSW over military affiliations, Abbott says good riddance

After more than four dozen bands pulled out of South by Southwest as a protest to the inclusion of military-affiliated organizations in one of Austin's signature annual festivals, Gov. Greg Abbott sent a clear signal Tuesday that none of them should ever feel welcome in Texas again.

"Bye. Don’t come back," the three-term Republican posted on X, formerly Twitter. "If you don’t like it, don’t come here."

Just for fun, I looked up the musicians (sic) who won’t be attending, and when I saw who I’d be missing, I immediately canceled my ticket to the festival and have applied for a refund.
