Good money after bad?

38 LOCUST ROAD

38 LOCUST ROAD

The owners of 38 Locust Road, over by the airport, listed it for $5.2 million in 2007 and it wouldn't sell, despite them eventually dropping it to $2.595 by 2013. Now they've spent considerable money adding fieldstone facing and returned it to the market, for $5.495 million.

This is about location, not rocks, and if the house couldn't fetch two-and-a-half million four years ago, I'm skeptical that adding some stone will raise its value $3 million more.
