/55 Winding Lane, which has been for sale since Elizabeth Feake traded for wampum shells down by the sea shore, has cut its price to $3.985 million. It came on the market at $6.495 in 2012 and stayed lodged at that price for years and years, ignoring the furious rejection by the market. Now it’s beginning its descent to reality, and a sale may finally be forthcoming; perhaps next spring.
These owners paid $3.850 for it in 1998, so at least they’re approaching familiar territory.
