35 Deep Gorge Road, $99,999 $999,999, is pending after just 8 days. One-and-a-quarter acres in the RA-1 zone, I suppose it’s attracted the attention of a builder. If so, it’s interesting that our local contractors have such confidence in this market lasting another 18 months or so.

And maybe it will — a lot of builders have come to grief on similar bets in the past, but I suppose this time’s different.

Deep Gorge is a good, quiet dead-end, and has seen some pretty good sales. I’m tempted to refer to as it being in the Byram area, but that’s just my eastern Riverside snobbery showing though: we think everything west of Riversville Road is Chinatown.
