What were they thinking?
/29 Hillside Road has dropped its price from $8.295 million to $7.695. That’s an improvement, and I understand the owners’ reluctance to drop too far below the $9.8 million they paid for this place in 2006, especially considering the dollars they’ve lavished on it since, but … really?
This is a grand old Pre-Depresion house on almost 3-acres, and set back from the road for privacy, but the little cow path that ran in front of it back in 1928 has been widened considerably since then: the freaking high school is now directly across from 29’s driveway. And the high school was there in 2006, too — hence my question.
