To the extent this is spreading, it's more dangerous than the flu itself

Medical lab cancels conservative’s COVID test after learning her identity

Conservative author and commentator Candace Owens was denied medical care in the form of a coronavirus test by a Colorado laboratory because of her political beliefs, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson reported Thursday.

Owens was sent a letter by Aspen Laboratories co-founder Suzanna Lee informing her that her "booking" was being cancelled and that she would be "denied service" because of both her aversion to governmental facemask mandates and her analysis of the effectiveness of vaccination shots.

"We cannot support anyone who has pro-actively worked to make this pandemic worse by spreading misinformation, politicizing, and discouraging the wearing of masks and actively dissuading people from receiving life-saving vaccinations," Lee wrote in the letter obtained by "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

Yes, this happened in Aspen, but amid increasing calls for barring the unvaccinated from food stores, schools, airplanes or courthouses, can passing a Google test for correct political views be far away for the rest of the country?

Speaking of the flying, poo-flinging “journalists” who run the nation’s media, here’s how the Aspen Daily News purported to objectively report this story:

In the email, Lee also [gleefully, it seems] informed Owens that she would instead have to use the free kiosk near Aspen City Hall if she wanted to be tested for COVID-19 locally.

“They mail their tests to Texas and have inconsistent result times, do not take appointments so it's walk-in only midday weekdays in their back alley,” Lee informed Owens of the alternative testing site.

Owens later replied to Lee by saying, “That nobody stopped you from hitting send on such an emotionally unstable and hysterical e-mail leads me to believe that the people who work for you must love me, and would therefore never deny me this entertainment.”

The conservative political commentator has repeatedly spread misinformation about mask wearing and the effectiveness of vaccines even as the delta variant continues to fill up ICU beds across the country.

The COVID-19 vaccines have been proven to be highly effective at preventing the spread of the virus, severe illness and death.

Do I need to point out that studies now show that masks, particularly the silly blue “surgical” masks handed out at most public forums, are worthless, and rising COVID-positive rates prove that vaccines do not prevent the spread of the virus? Quick, Facebook, shut down thIS paper for spreading misinformation
