224 Stanwich Road, down to $5.495 from its opening salvo of $5.880. Nine-thousand sq.ft., 5 bedrooms, and 11.1 baths, for the incontinent family in a rush. It looks nice enough, but is this one of those lots that drop 500 feet below the road? I’m not sure, because that section of Stanwich does rise up as it nears Clapboard Ridge. We’ll have to check and see, though it will be obvious to a potential buyer.

The builder is from Harrison and won the property by bidding $1,100,888 on an asking price of $1 million back in 2019, but even at that, she probably has plenty of room to adjust her price and still make out.
