Pending on Doubling
/98 Doubling Road, current ask of $6.875, down from last April’s $7.495. Thi house has had a volatile price history since it was built by Jordan Saper back in 2006. He sold it that year for $6.950, and a year later those purchasers sold it for $7.770, and they, in turn, sold it to the current owners for $7.4 in 2009.
But, and tied into the post below about timing, these owners put it up for sale in 2018 at $6.995 but rented it out instead at the end of that year. Then, in April 2020 they priced it at just $6.295 but fortunately, a renter came along three days after it was listed, and rented it for $22.5 a month.
So as noted, this past April they tried again, jacking the price from the year before’s $6.295 to $7.495. They had to drop that to $6.875 during the year but better than a sharp stick in the eye.
Mind you, that’s still below the $7.4 they’d paid in 2009.
