Hilfiger price cut on Riversville

591 Riversville Road, that beautiful estate once belonging to Joseph Vernor Reed and now (one of) the places Tommy Hilfiger hangs his hat, has been dropped from $40 million to $20. Originally built in 1775, it still has almost 18 acres, with a view.

I learned to repair dry laid stone walls up here back when I was in high school, and its spectacular setting hasn’t diminished one whit since then.
