Pending on Laddin's Rock Road

65 Laddin’s Rock, asking $1.699 million, is reported pending. It’s been on the market for 126 days, so it’s unlikely that it is selling above-ask. Landin’s Rock is north of the Village, but south of I-95 and the Post Road, and is very much not in Cos Cob or Stamford.

1961 construction, and on a very busy road, but the owner has been here since 1975, so it is certainly not unlivable.

Laddin’s Rock, for newcomers, is so-named because an early settler, (first name? Historically Yours, help me out here) Laddin, while being chased by savages escaped them, but not death, by riding his horse off the huge boulder up near what is now the Thruway; the rock is still there, but not Mr. Laddin, or his poor horse.
