The (attempted) clearance sale of those condos on Cos Cob's River Road continues

This time it’s Unit 201 at 89 River Road, marked down from its original 2001 price of $2.995 million to $1.595. Several of these units have sold recently at their new lower price, and $1,286 per sq.. ft. is certainly more reasonable than $2,415, but $1.6 million for a 2-bedroom, 1,240 sq. ft. condo with a view of I-95 still strikes me as a stretch.

By the way, the listing broker’s website claims that local rules require would-be viewers (some of whom might even be actual buyers) to sign in before being allowed access to interior photos, so I’ve linked to Zillow, which isn’t so possessive of this double-secret information.
