Linwood Avenue, Riverside, bidding war result reported

22 Linwood Avenue listed at $2.150 million and closed Friday at $2.4 million to a NYC (10065 Zip) family. Linwood’s a good street, but redistricting a while ago assigned it to Dundee School, and though there’s certainly nothing wrong with Dundee, the fact that it’s across the Post Road, and children on Linwood will probably make friends over there, rather than among the kids around the corner on Lockwood, say, doesn’t strike me as ideal.

That’s only an issue if children still play outdoors with other children in the neighborhood, of course, and I’m not sure they do.
