No, Facebook friends, I am not peddling Nigerian get-rich opportunities

I’ve been alerted by friends that they’ve received messages ostensibly sent by me touting some financial opportunity. While I’m sure the investment scheme is sound, and bound to make its participants wealthy beyond their wildest dreams, I’m not associated with it.

I haven’t used Facebook in years, and in fact, thought I’d deleted the account a decade ago. Apparently, I hadn’t, but I have now. I’d apologize on behalf of Mark Zuckerberg, but he probably doesn’t care. Oh, well.
