Back on the market after a holiday break

18 Close Road, still priced at $35 million. It’s been seeking a buyer since April, 2021, when it asked for $40 million, but at this price range, these things take time.

It’s an impressive house: built in 2020, 27 acres, 15,000 sq. feet of geothermal-heated rooms, and even a slate roof. While it’s presently configured for just 6 bedrooms (and four cars), I’ll bet that Mayor Adams relocation team could rework it to accommodate a couple hundred of those illegal aliens currently occupying luxury NYC hotels and refusing to leave. At $500 per night, per “gust” the City might effect an economy.

And after all, you can’t bus them all to Canada, tempting as that might be.
